When talking about Diamond,You will definitely have to hear the word "CARAT"

Carat is the term used to express the weight of a diamond.
One carat is equal to 200 milligrams of actual weight.

Carat is also used to measured the weight of other gems.
However, different gems of the same weight aren't necessarily the same size, because some gemstones are more dense than others.
